A month before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Nike dropped the most expensive Brazil jersey ever. Flash, a benefits card accepted in more than 2MM stores, took advantage of the fans’ protests about the price of the jersey and offered them a sponsorship deal.
The promo "Cashback For Your Jersey’s Back” gave a 50% refund to every fan who purchased the jersey on Nike’s ecommerce, customized it with “FLASH” and posted it on social media.
After a week, even Nike noticed us, and blocked our name on their website.
Game over?
No: we extended the promo to fans who customized their jerseys by hand.
